PRECAUTIONS
To get the best possible performances from the electronic length measuring instruments
TESATRONIC TT80 and TT90, read this instruction manual thoroughly before getting
started.
1 GENERAL
Both TT80 and TT90 are used for accurate measurements with one or two TESA inductive
probes (or TESA compatible probes).
The measurement signals generated by the electronic probes are processed, amplified, and
displayed on the analogue or digital indication. The TT90 version is able to operate in either
of the 3 following modes :
– like a TT80 (TT90 in TT80 mode in this manual);
– using all the functionalities of a TT80, but with a range limited to ±200 µm (TT90);
– using all the functionalities linked to the TESA UPC gauge block comparator (TT90-UPC).
