9. Cleaning and care advice
Clean all system parts with a moist cloth without any other ad-
ditives. Thoroughly remove any residual moisture before return-
ing the system to operation.
Alkaline or acid based cleaning products may irreparably damage
system parts. Heavier type soiling must be expected at the
actuating element visible on the front of the unit. Remove dirt
deposited on the triggering sensor‘s moving metal part (pusher).
DANGER
Danger to life!
Any moisture getting into system parts while cleaning
presents a danger to life from electric shock.
Before commencing any cleaning work, disconnect all
Easys system components from the power supply.
Thoroughly remove any residual moisture before
returning the system to operation.
10. Taking out of service and disposal
The entire energy supply system must also be dismantled and
removed at the time of final shutdown and disposal.

Working on live components in the improper manner
presents a danger to life!
Work on the electrics or electrical installation must
only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
When working on the electrics, disconnect the Easys
system from the mains power supply by unplugging it
from the mains power socket.
The work involved in dismantling and removing the
electrical equipment must only be carried out by
trained electricians!
NOTE
The Easys system is an electrical and electronic facility
which, in compliance with WEEE Directive 2012/19/
EU, must be disposed of separately from household
waste. The products are marked with the symbol
shown.
Before disposing of materials and components, check whether
they can be recycled. Wherever possible, try and make sure that
all parts are recycled.
Dispose of all materials and parts in compliance with your local
guidelines and regulations. Make sure that disposal is perman-
ently compatible with man and the natural environment.
