Installation
• (A)
Disconnect luminaire from mains. Open glass
cover. Unscrew locking bolt of device carrier and
keep for use later on. Remove existing device carrier
from the two swing hinges by loosening the 4 screws
(S) M3x6. First unplug the device plug connection
(WIELAND)
Note: (A1)
Handle locking bolt and screws (
S
) with
great care (risk of being lost!). You will need these
later on to fit the LED recessed luminaire head!

Remove device carrier and clear luminaire on
inside and out.
• (D)
Move LED recessed luminaire head into position.
Connect device plug connection (WIELAND).
• (E)
Use the 4 screws (
S
) to secure recessed luminaire
head to the two swing hinges.
Note:
Handle screws (
S
) with great care (risk of being
lost!).
• (F)
Swivel up LED recessed luminaire head and use
locking bolt to fix to luminaire housing.
• Connect luminaire with the mains and check function.
• Mark upgrade on LED, if necessary in the luminaire /
on the mast. Keep assembly instructions for mainte-
nance at a later date
• Correctly dispose of removed materials / compo-
nents.
Note
If mains are frequently subject to peaks in voltage, if
necessary take additional relevant surge protection
measures.
Before installing the LED operating device unit in the
luminaire, please set the rotary switch and note on
the rear of these assembly instructions the switch
position selected!
