The T-Control is connected to the repeater or router via Ethernet (LAN). The repeater or router must be
configured so that it communicates with the Internet router via WLAN.
After setting up the repeater or router, the network settings must be made in the T-Control.

Modbus is an application protocol to exchange messages between intelligent Modbus controllers in the
building manag
ement system. The Modbus protocol “TCP” is used in the HERZ control. This protocol
transmits the encoded data via LAN cable. Modbus ensures that connected controllers in the building
management system receive the transmitted data from the boiler, so they can continue processing.
