Switching the device off
Press and hold
the ON/OFF button
for at least 2 seconds (until you hear
a short
acoustic signal)
.
The LC display will briefly show OFF.
The device is then switched off.
6. Charging the integrated
battery pack
Switch off the device!
In order to charge the integrated
battery pack, the device must first
be switched off.
Caution – Danger of
damaging the device!
Charging
socket
The battery pack integrated in the device
may only be charged using the charging
adapter included with the gas leak detector
in delivery.
The device has a charging socket for
charging the integrated battery pack.
Insert the charging plug of the adapter
provided into the charging socket of the
gas leak detector. Connect the charging
adapter to the power supply with a suitable
connector. The battery pack charging process
begins automatically.
The integrated battery pack takes around
12 hours to charge completely (from
completely discharged, battery symbol in
display) using the charging adapter provided.
The charging process is not displayed on the
gas leak detector.
Charging should take place in an ambient
temperature range from 0 to 45 °C. Over
500 charge and discharge cycles can be
expected under normal conditions.
Long periods of storage or charging the
battery for too long reduce the cell capacity.
In this battery, the capacity loss can be
compensated for by means of a full charge
or 1 to 3 charge and discharge cycles.
