If the battery is expected to be stored for
more than two months, ensure to fully
charge the battery once in a month.
Battery removal
•
If in case your vehicle is not used for more
than a month remove the battery, fully
charge and store in a cool and dry place.
Ÿ
Always ensure the battery is fully charged
before installation.
•
Remove the left side cover screws (1), side
cover (2) by releasing the lug from the
grommet (3) and slide the cover as per the
direction to release tab from the slot (4).
•
Remove the seat
(page 31).
Battery storage
Ÿ
Ensure the battery leads are properly
connected to the battery terminals during
installation.
•
Make sure the ignition switch is “OFF” ( ).
•
Pullout the battery (9) from the battery box.

Disconnect the (-)ve terminal lead (5) from
the battery first, then disconnect the (+)ve
