Manual Welding: wire speed regulation
Synergic Welding: Wire Speed Balancing Regulation (± 40% of the set parameter)
Stick & TIG Welding: Welding Current Regualtion
4a
Left Display, during welding it shows the real value of the output current, in no load it shows the
value of the parameter adjusted with the potentiometer (4):
• in MMA Mode (welding with coated electrode) and TIG (welding with infusible electrode) it
shows the adjusted current value, variable from 5 to 200A;
• in manual MIG/MAG Mode (wire welding) it shows the adjusted wire speed value;
• in synergic MIG/MAG Mode it shows a manual adjustment of the wire feed speed, the possi-
ble variation is +/-40% on the base value adjusted by default ( “0” on the display);
• with a not allowed welding combination it shows “Err” (error in the welding parameters’
adjustment).
5
Manual Welding: Welding Voltage Regulation - 13V to 35V
Synergic Welding: Welding Power Regulation as per the wire diameter and the gas type selection.
Stick & TIG Welding: not active
5a
Right Display, during welding it shows the real arc voltage, in no load it shows the the value of
the parameter adjusted with the potentiometer (5):
• in MMA Mode it shows the strike over-current value of the electric arc (hot start), variable from
0 to 50% on the current value adjusted by default;
• in TIG is not active,
• in manual MIG/MAG Mode, it shows the arc voltage value (no load), variable from 13 to 35 V;
• in synergic MIG/MAG Mode (depending on the thickness of the piece being welded) it shows
the percentage of the adjusted welding power that may vary from 1 to 100% of the power
available on the selected synergic curve (selected wire type, wire diameter and gas).
• with a not allowed welding combination unit doesn’t work: the display (4a) shows “Err” (error)
and the display (5a) shows “POS”.

Note: if blinking power voltage is too high
7
Overheat Indicator
Note: if blinking it indicates the intervention of the thermal protection. During starting phase it
stays lit for 5 seconds.

5.1 HANDLE ASSEMBLY
•
Remove the unit from its package;
•
Fix handle with the supplied screws;
5.2 GETTING READY FOR MMA WELDING
•
Connect the earth cable to the negative socket (9) of the unit.
•
Connect the working cable to the positive socket (10) of the unit.
•
Switch the unit on.
•
Select Stick function thru the Selector Key (1) on the front panel.
•
Set welding current thru the potentiometer on the front panel (4).
The here below table gives some suggestions of the type of electrode for the different welding
current settings.
