Digital Dynamic Bass Processing
Slope modes (2)
Setting „12“ is recommended in the case of weak
low frequency range performance of the front
and rear loudspeakers of your car audio system.
This is very common when small speakers (4" or
5.25") are installed. Setting „24“ is recommended
when speakers with 6.5" or more are installed.
In some cases, due to the vehicle’s interior acou-
stics, the frequency range around 200 Hz may be
over-emphasized after the connection of a sub-
woofer. It is perceived as boomy. Setting „24“
often reduces this effect.
Thanks to sophisticated digital signal processing
these subwoofers offer maximum bass response
combined with lowest possible distortion. The
lower cut-off frequency is varied in a way that a
mechanical overload of the woofer and an over-
drive of the amplifier is eliminated at any time.
For the first time this feature allows a volume
dependent digital adjustment of the lower cut-off
frequency. It guarantees the best bass perfor-
mance without overdloading the internal ampli-
fier that normally leads to worse sound quality.
