Here are some safety instructions for your security:
• Once used, the CO2 cartridge must be replaced with a new Hip’Safe cartridge of the same
capacity (50 cc or 60 cc) ( on sale on our website www.helite.com or at our dealers.)
• The belt should be stored carefully when not used. Keep it away from high temperatures
(over 45°C) and humidity.
• Failure to follow the instructions could lead to malfunction or reduce the effectiveness of
the airbag system.
• Do not wear Hip’Safe under pants.
• Do not wear Hip’Safe directly on the skin.
• Make sure that Hip’Safe is on the right side before using it.
• Do not remove any part of the airbag system or of the cartridge.
• Never close the belt when you are not wearing it (to avoid unexpected triggering)
• Never close the belt when you are charging it (to avoid unexpected triggering)
• Modifications or misuse of the airbag system could decrease dangerously the effectiveness
of your system.
• Do not wash the belt, only the cover is washable in a washing machine or by hand.
• The belt is not suitable for sport pratice
• Do not use under the shower or in a bath.
• Keep out of reach of children
• The belt is not suitable for people with demencia symptoms or neuro-degenerative
diseases (Alzheimer, Parkinson)
4. Remove the belt and turn OFF the system
Open the buckle and remove the belt.
