2 .6 Performance data
The motor type plate gives an indication of the electrical values; which must be coordinated with the local supply net-
work. The fan performances* were established on a test stand according to DIN EN ISO 5801:2010-12; they apply to
the nominal speed and standard design using an inlet nozzle, without a protection guard with unhindered
inflow and outflow and a pressure-side pipe section with 2.5 x diameter length. In this respect, different versions and
unfavourable installation and operating conditions can lead to a reduction of output.
2 .7 Noise data
The noise data* also refers to the aforementioned directive. Casing variations, unfavourable operating conditions and
many other things can lead to an increase in the specified catalogue values. Data that refers to certain distances (1 m, 2
m, 4 m) apply to free field conditions. With regard to installation, the sound pressure level can differ significantly from the
catalogue data, as it is highly dependant on the installation conditions, i.e. on the absorption capability of the room, the
room size among other factors.
3 .0 Design
Series B AMD 315-1120 F300 / F400
The medium-pressure axial smoke extraction fan is a direct-driven fan where the motor is positioned in the airflow. The
air flow direction is pushing via the motor. The axial flow pattern allows a low-loss, linear airflow and ensures a high
fan efficiency. The cylindrical casing with flanges on both ends, integrated guide vane and motor support are made
from powder-coated sheet steel.
The axial impeller with ten spatially curved blades is made from an aluminium casting alloy. The dynamic balancing is
carried out according to DIN ISO 21940-11:2017-03, class 6.3.
