Installation:
Only operate this product with the enclosed transformer.
Check before commissioning that the mains voltage agrees with the rated voltage stated on
the name plate.
Sufficient ventilation is necessary because of the heat generated by the transformer. The
ambient temperature and the housing temperature of the transformer have to be taken into
consideration.
Make sure that the product is disconnected from the mains when you leave the house, or if the
product is operated without attendance for a longer period of time.
Unpack the product carefully and completely remove all the packaging material. Place the
product on a flat, dry surface. Make sure that the product has sufficient stability.
Please do not place the product directly in the sun or in a damp, hot or dusty environment.
The decorative lighting is only suitable for inside rooms.
Insert the connection cable of the mains adapter into the socket on the lower side of the light.
Feed the cable carefully through the small cable duct on the lower side, in order to ensure
sufficient stability.
Make sure when laying the cable that there are no obstacles or other sources of danger.
Do not bend the cable, make sure that the cable and the plug are free from strain and
rotational forces. Protect all cables and insulations from damage which may occur.
The transformer is then connected to the power mains.
The name plate must not be removed.
Changing the illuminant
The power supply has to be disconnected before changing the illuminant. The light has to cool
off for a sufficient period of time if is changed immediately after the illuminant fails.
Remove the screws on the lower side. Pull the unit carefully out of the housing. Make sure
that the fibre optic strands are not damaged.
Remove both the springs used to connect the illuminant with the holder. Make sure that no
small parts are damaged.
Carefully remove the faulty illuminant from the holder. Carefully insert the new illuminant into
the holder and reinstall the holding springs. Do not use any force or extreme pressure. Check
that the illuminant is properly seated in the holder.
Push the unit back into the housing and refasten the screws.
Care and servicing:
You must make sure that the power supply is disconnected before cleaning.
Use a dry, or slightly damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use any pointed or sharp items for
cleaning .
Never use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
