8. Notes for the sensor:
The sensor detects movements within the capture radius of approx. 10m. The sensor is powered by a
built-in photocell. As soon as the light is switched on by the sensor, the light remains on for a period of
10s – 12 min.
Using the "Time" selector switch you can set the duration for which the LED-floodlight should remain lit
after a movement is detected. This duration of the floodlight is increased up to a maximum of 12
minutes if the rotary knob with the clock symbol is turned to the left ( + direction), while the duration is
reduced (up to a maximum of 10 seconds) by turning this knob to the right ( - direction).
The selector switch marked “LUX” lets you set the point at which the floodlight switches on and this is
dependent on the surrounding brightness. The setting is done using the rotary knob with the sun / moon
symbol. Turn the rotary knob completely to the left in the direction of the sun symbol if the surrounding
brightness has reached the point when the light has to switch on and then move it back slowly until the
light switches on as you move your hand in front of the PIR sensor. If you turn the rotary knob
completely to the right in the direction of the lunar symbol the light switches on even during complete
daylight as soon as the PIR sensor registers a movement.
