The "HFR 8204" device conforms to the following requirements:
• European Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
• EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU
• Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC
• RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU – (EU) 2015/863

Consumers are granted a guarantee for private use of the device. This guarantee is 24 months
from the date of purchase. For commercial use, if the device is suitable for it, a 12-month
warranty is provided upon purchase by the company. In the case of mixed use by private and
business customers with a suitable device, the warranty is reduced to 12 months.
A purchase of the device in Germany is a prerequisite for the warranty service. This purchase
may have been made from us or an authorized dealer.
If the warranty case does not take place in Germany, the buyer must make the device available
at his own expense so that a warranty service can be provided.
All defects that are eligible for warranty must be reported in writing. In this case, a report must
be made within 14 days after sighting the defect.
Should a warranty claim take place, we reserve the right to remedy the damage or defect. The
possibility of repair or replacement of the device is possible and determined by the seller.
Excluded Warranty Claims:
Ignoring the instructions for use
Improper handling of the device
wear and tear of the device
Reported warranty claims are also excluded for easily breakable components, spare parts or
accessories made of glass or plastic, for example. Any repairs or modifications to the purchased
product made by yourself or by an unauthorized third party are also excluded from a possible
guarantee. Further warranty claims will not be made again.
