VI. INSTALLATION
Cleaning before use
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories
with lukewarm water and neutral soap in order to remove the typical smell of a brand
new product, then dry thoroughly.
Installation Positioning

Before installing, read the instructions carefully for your safety and the correct
operation of the appliance.

Position the appliance away from sources of heat such as stoves, radiators, direct
sunlight, etc.
•
Maximum performance and safety are guaranteed by maintaining the correct
indoor temperature for the class of unit concerned, as specified on the rating
plate.
•
This appliance performs well in SN/N/ST. The appliance may not work properly if
it is left for a longer period at a temperature above or below the indicated range.
Ventilation of appliance
ln order to improve efficiency of the cooling system and save energy, it is necessary to
maintain good ventilation around the appliance. For this reason, sufficient clear space
should be available around the appliance.
It is advisable for there to be 50-70 mm of space from the back to the wall, at least 100
mm from its top, at least 50 mm from its side to the wall and a clear space in front to
allow the door to open 135°. Please see the following diagrams.
Note: This appliance performs well within the climate class SN/N/ST showed in the table
below. It may not work properly if left at a temperature above or below the indicated
range for a long period.
Install this appliance at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the
climate class indicated on the rating plate of the appliance:
For refrigerating appliances with climate class:
- extended temperate: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 10 °C to 32 °C (SN);
- temperate: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 32 °C (N);
