For exchange procedures, HEIDENHAIN provides removable hard disks (HDR unit) on which all
NC software levels including the latest service packs (SP) for the NC software versions 340490,
340491, 340492 and 340493 are saved.
The HDRs are configured such
that they are executable on all MC 420, MC 422 B/C hardware,
even with the minimum working memory of 128 MB.

Note!
HEIDENHAIN recommends using the last service pack.
After the release of a new service pack, it may happen that it is not yet available on the
HDR Universal. In this case the new service pack can be downloaded from the
Web application "HESIS-Web Including Filebase".
