A. Top Vent
• Remove the cover plate by removing the two screws
holding it to the top of the appliance. Discard the cover
plate.
• Remove the center insulation plug.
• Cut the metal retaining band and fold the sides out.

• Fold the center parts of the retaining band up and use to
remove the vent cap.

• Discard the vent cap, remove and discard the insulation
basket.
Note: Once the vent cap has been removed it CANNOT
be reattached.
Sharp Edges
• Wear protective gloves and safety
glasses during installation.
CAUTION
• Attach the fi rst vent section. It will snap into place. See
Figure 7.6.
