K. Accessories
Install approved accessories per instructions included with
accessories.
I. Attach the Hood
The hood must be attached or a
fi
re hazard may result.
• Located above the upper grille panel.
• Loosen the four screws just inside the upper section of
the appliance.
• Position the hood and tighten the screws.
See Figure 12.7.
J. Air Shutter Adjustment
To prevent the possibility of soot buildup, we have provided
your appliance with an adjustable air shutter set at 1/4 in.
open for natural gas and fully open for propane gas. In the
event soot is accumulating in your [natural gas] appliance,
the air shutter should be opened farther.
