Disables the
UNIT
button so it will not display the other weight measuring unit.
UdP = E Allows the user to view the other weight measuring unit by holding down the
UNIT
button even if the weight measuring unit is locked. Enabling this function will only
allow the user to view the other unit while pressing the
UNIT
button; it will not unlock
the weight measuring unit.
2. Choose the setting you prefer and press
CLEAR/REWEIGH
to save your selection and exit the
Options mode.

The scale will restart. The display will show “UEr”, followed by a version number, and then
dash
es. When the display shows “0.0” the scale is ready to use.
Enabling Wireless Option
To allow the scale to wirelessly connect to another device, the wireless option must be enabled. The
wireless default setting is “disabled” Follow this procedure to enable or disable the wireless option.
Note:
This function is only available if a wireless module has been factory installed.
1. While the scale is turned off, press and hold
ENTER/SELECT
then press and release the
button. Hold
ENTER/SELECT
until “AOb” appears on the display, then release. Use the ▲ or ▼
buttons to advance the display screen until “ᴦAd” appears. Press
ENTER/SELECT
to change the
setting.
ᴦAd = d
Disables the wireless option.
ᴦAd = E
Enables the wireless option and allows connection to another wireless device.
Note:
If there is not a wireless module installed the display will show “Error” if trying to enable the
wireless option.
2. Press

Setting Backlight Brightness
This option allows the user to set the brightness of the backlight on the display. Users can choose
from four levels of brightness or choose to disable the backlight. The brightness default setting is level
4
– the brightest level.
Follow this procedure to set the brightness of the display or disable the
backlight.
Note:
If the scale is being powered by batteries, the backlight will dim to level 1 when the scale is in
idle mode.
Note:
High levels of brightness will utilize more battery power.
