USB Storage Device Capacity
As the size of and space available on your USB storage device impacts the
amount of recorded content that can be stored, following is an overview of
what you can expect.
The receiver captures the broadcaster’s stream, which they vary in bit rate
balancing program quality and available bandwidth. Therefore, exact
figures are complicated to calculate but the following can be considered a
guide:-
· An average of 3GB per recorded hour is need for Standard
Definition content in MEPG2.
· An average of 9GB per recorded hour is needed for High
Definition content in MPEG2.
· Based on this, a 1TB Storage Device can hold an average of
110 hours of HD and 330 hours of SD program content in MPEG2.
MPEG2 is the default encoding broadcast in Australia, although
your receiver is equipped to decode H.264 or MPEG4 which
approximately doubles the amount of recorded content per
gigabyte.
MULTIMEDIA
Attach a USB storage device with the files you wish to play saved on it.
Play PHOTO Files
. Press the Menu key on the remote
control and SET UP & MORE page
will display.
. Press the Up/Down arrow keys on the
remote control and select
MULTIMEDIA.
. Press the Left/Right arrow keys on the
remote control to locate PHOTO in the
middle of the screen.
. Press the OK key on the remote control
and Photo Thumbnail page will display.
