To ensure the best EMC protection, the load cell,
together with the connection cable and the subsequent
electronics, should be placed in a shielded housing.

Exception

Load cells with shielded, round cables are EMC‐tested in
accordance with EC directives and identified by CE
certification. But you must make sure that the connection
cable shield is connected to the shielded housing of the
electronics.
