HBK FiberSensing acceleration sensors are delivered with a calibration sheet.
They show a linear behavior with acceleration.

The calibration coefficient (S) is the value given on the sensors’ documenta
tion.
The reference wavelength of the FBG acceleration senor (λ
0
) should corre
spond to the sensor’s wavelength at the zero instant. This should be measured
after installation. It can be filled by hand or automatically defined by an actual
measurement using the
Measure
button.
