Installing the PME Setup Assistant

Insert the CD into the drive
Installation starts automatically or can be called up from the “Setup.exe” file.
Alternatively, the current Assistant can be downloaded from the HBM website
http://www.hbm.de
> Support > Download > Software.
After installation, an icon is generated in the Windows
Start menu, with which the Assistant can be launched.
The Assistant initially displays the Setup window where the MP85A process
controller connection settings must be specified.

IMPORTANT
The network segment of the MP85A process controller (factory settings:
192.169.169.10) must also be set in the network settings of the PC (no auto-
matic address assignment via DHCP). The PC address may only differ in the
last group from the address of the MP85A process controller:

192.168.169.11
Subnet mask example
255.255.255.0
