Dust, dirt and other foreign bodies must not be
allowed to collect in such a way that movement of the
transducer is restricted.

The load introduction device (pendle bearing) applies
restoring forces which have a self‐centering effect in
the case of transverse forces. If these are exceeded,
an inadmissibly large inclination of the pendle bearing
and thus incorrect measuring results or damage to the
load introduction elements or the load cell can result.

Lateral displacements which exceed the maximum
permissible value should be avoided by aligning the
other modules appropriately, or should be absorbed
by other stops or retention devices.
