RECOMMENDED TOOLS:
Assorted tools as needed for installing power cord (7501BL240
only).
LOCATION OF UNIT:
The Model 7501BL/7501BL240 heated blanket should be installed over
a 7501 tank in close proximity to potential accident areas. It should be clearly identified, free
from obstruction, and easily accessible. This assembly should be wall mounted in accordance
with the 7501 installation instructions.
NOTE:
Personal wash unit Models 7501BL/
7501BL240 shall not be exposed to ambient temperatures exceeding 38
⁰
C (100
⁰
F).
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:
The Model 7501BL requires a 120 VAC, three-prong outlet. The
7501BL includes a heavy-duty 8 foot power cord with GFCI plug. The Model 7501BL240
requires a 240VAC outlet and is not supplied with a power cord. The Model 7501BL240 MUST
BE PROTECTED BY a Class A GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER (GFCI). No power
cord is supplied with the 7501BL240 and must be installed by the user.

REPAIR CHECKLIST
1.
Heat trace does not turn on.
1. a. Not plugged in or no power to plug. Check
GFCI plug (7501BL only) and circuit
breaker.
b. If ambient temperature is high and doesn’t
allow the blanket temperature to drop below
68°F (20°C) the heater may not switch on.
Heater settings are: Non-adjustable
thermostat preset to switch on at 62°± 5°F
(17°± 3°C) and switch off 77°± 5°F (25°±
3°C). Test the thermostat and heater
function by applying ice in a circular motion
to thermostat location. Apply ice to this
location for approximately 3-5 minutes. The
heat trace cable should become warm to the
touch when operating properly. Thermostat
is located on junction box.
