IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Tripping hazard
Caution!
Damage to the machine
Operate the lawn mower at walking speed only.
WARNING!
The battery will not charge if its temperature reaches 45
ºC
(113
ºF
)
or above. This may occur when the lawn mower is used for a long period of time
on a very hot summer day. Let the battery cool down for at least 15 minutes
prior to placing it in the charger and attempting to charge it .
1) Stones, branches or other objects lying around can cause damage to the lawn
mower and its operation. Remove all objects from the lawn mower’s path before
every use.
2) Do not operate the lawn mower if it is not in perfect working order. Conduct a
thorough visual check before using it. In particular, check that protective
equipment, electrical controls, current-carrying cables and threaded
connections are not damaged and are secure.
3) Replace damaged parts before operating the unit.
Use only the battery and charger provided with the lawn mower.
Protect battery and battery charger from humidity. Do not operate the battery
charger outdoors. When it is not in use or before cleaning and servicing, disconnect
the battery charger from the power supply. Avoid dropping it onto any hard surface
and do not subject it to pressure or any other form of mechanical stress. Keep the
battery away from extreme heat and cold. Do not open or attempt to repair the
battery or the battery charger. If any parts are defective, have them repaired by a
qualified technician. Only charge the battery at an ambient (air) temperature
between 0ºC (32ºF) and 45ºC (112ºF). A charged battery can be used to power the
lawn mower under ambient temperature conditions between 0ºC (32ºF) and 50ºC
(122ºF). When not in use, store the battery in a dry place between 10ºC (50ºF) and
30ºC (86ºF).
If any person comes into contact with acid or similar internal fluids or substances
contained in the battery, wash them off immediately with plenty of water. If the
substances make contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek
medical attention immediately.
