at the same time pull line and be sure that it
is released from spool rail notch. If not, the
bump-feed feature can not operate. Hold the
tool in the trimming position and turn the tool
on. In few seconds or less, you’ll hear the nylon
line being cut to proper length. If not, bump
the feed head gently on the ground to initiate a
fresh length of line.

BULK LINE
Bulk line for you trimmer / edger is available
at extra cost from your local rONA store. To
install bulk line, follow the steps below. (Use
0.065” diameter round line only)
1) Insert the two-double lines through a slot in
the spool. (See Fig S)
2) Snugly and evenly wind the bulk line onto
the spool (See Fig T) in the direction of the
arrow on the spool until the line builds up to the
notches in the spool rim. (See Fig U) Do not
overfill spool. The spool holds about 20 feet
(6m) of line.
MAINTENANCE
Be sure the tool is unplugged.
1.Your string trimmer requires no additional
lubrication or maintenance. There are no user
serviceable parts in your power tool.
2.Your trimmer line can dry out over time. To
keep your line in top condition, store spare pre-
wound spools or bulk line in plastic, sealable
bag with a tablespoon of water.
3.Never use water or chemical cleaners to
clean your trimmer. Wipe clean with a dry
cloth.
4.Plastic parts may be cleaned by using a mild
soap and a damp rag.
5.Always store your grass trimmer in a dry
place. No not allow any liquid to get inside it.
6. Keep the motor ventilation slots clean.
7. If you see some sparks flashing in the
ventilation slots, this is normal and will not
damage your power tool.
8. There are no user serviceable parts in
the trimmer. If a fault is suspected return the
trimmer to an authorized dealer for repair.
Important: To assure product safety and
reliability, repairs, maintenance and adjustment
should be performed by authorized service
centres or other qualified service organization,
always using identical replacement parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. If trimmer will not operate, check power at
mains plug.
2. If the trimmer is not cutting properly check
the nylon line length and lengthen or replace
line.
3. If you experience regular line breakage
rewind the spool uniformly.
4. If the trimmer line does not feed out on
“bump feed”, check the nylon line length or
rewind the spool to avoid line entanglement.
