STARTING THE ENGINE
Check the oil level prior to starting the gas
engine
1. Attach the rotating floor sweeper to your gas
engine and ensure it is securely in place.
2. Press the priming pump 8-10 times until it is
full of fuel. You should also see the fuel through
the clear plastic fuel pipe.
3. Set the choke lever to the “on“ position and
switch the on/off switch to the “I“ position
(on position). (A5, A6)
4. Pull the starter cord slightly until resistance is
felt, then pull briskly.
5. Run the engine for 20 to 35 seconds at 1/2 of
full throttle on half choke position after which
then move the choke to the “off“ position.
6.The engine should continue to run more
smoothly and accelerate and decelerate
smoothly. If the engine is not responding to the
throttle then the engine may still be a little cold.
Please move the choke back to halfway between
the “on“ and “off“ positions until the engine is
warm enough to switch the choke to the “off“
position.
STOPPING THE ENGINE
1. Slow the engine to idle speed.
2. Press the “on/off“ button on the handle bar
to “O“ position. This will immediately stop the
engine.
3. Place the engine away from combustible
materials as the engine will still be hot.
4. If not using the machine for some time, drain
all the fuel out of the tank and replace cap.
