OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
GETTING STARTED.
UNPACKING
Remove all items from carton.
Check all items for any shipping damage. If you
find any damage or if any parts are missing,
please call Customer Service at 1-888-874-8661.
ACCESSORIES
The pole saw comes with following accessories:
Saw Chain 1pc
Guide bar 1pc
Hex Key 1pc
Oil bottle 1pc
Blade Cover 1pc
Shoulder Strap 1pc
ASSEMBLY OF POLE SAW
1. Take the hex key out of the rear housing of
pole saw. ( See Pic. 1)
2. Loosen the Guide Bar knob and remove the
Sprocket Cover. (See. Pic. 2)
3. Loosen the guide bar bolt with the hex key.
( See. Pic. 3)
4. Place chain along top groove of guide bar and
around guide bar nose, making sure cutting
edges of chain are facing in the right direction.
Position chain so cutting edges on top of
guide bar face guide bar nose. ( See. Pic. 4 &
4-1)
CAUTION:
Do not place chain on saw
backwards. If chain is backwards, saw will
vibrate badly and will not cut.
5. Install guide bar onto saw body. Place center
slot of guide bar onto guide bar bolt. Place
chain around drive sprocket. ( See. Pic. 5)
6. Tighten the guide bar bolt with the hex key.
(See. Pic. 6)
7. Adjust saw chain tension. Follow steps under
SAW CHAIN TENSION ADJUSTMENT. Correct
chain tension shown as Pic. 7
8. Close the sprocket cover and tighten the
Guide Bar Knob. ( See. Pic.8)
9. Open the oil cap and pour oil into the oil
reservoir, making sure oil level must exceed
Min mark on the housing. ( See Pic. 9, 10 &11)
ADJUSTING POLE LENGTH
The pole saw has a telescoping pole assembly
that will extend from 67“ / 1.7 m ( fully
retracted ) to 106“ / 2.7 m ( fully extended). There
are two inner poles that can be retracted or
extended. Coupling nuts are used to hold the
pole in position at any extended length.
To extend the pole, turn nut 1 counterclockwise.
Pole will slide freely. ( See. Pic. 12 & 13)
Pull inner pole section out to desired length of
extension (See Pic. 14)
To lock pole in position, turn nut clockwise until
firmly hand tight. ( See. Pic. 15)
If fully extended inner pole 1 length does
not reach desired length, inner pole 2 can be
extended too following same steps as described
above.
ADJUSTING SHOULDER STRAP POSITION
The pole saw has a shoulder strap for assistance
of operation. Its position can be adjusted by
following the steps as below.
1. Turn nut 3 counterclockwise. The strap can be
moved freely. ( See. Pic 18.)
2. Pull the strap to the desired postion. ( See Pic.
19)
3. Turn nut 3 clockwise and tighten the nut. ( See.
Pic. 20)
4. Press the side buttons to disengage the clasps.
(See Pic 21)
5. Push the claps together to fasten them to one
another. (See Pic 22)
