Install the rubber stopper. Replace the tank in the device. When the tank is replaced, the
dehumidifier will resume operation if the appliance was running.
CAUTION! When emptying the tank, do not touch the inside of the appliance. Do not touch the sensor inside the
tank to avoid the risk of damaging it.
CONNECTING THE DRAINING HOSE
To enhance dehumidifying you may connect a draining hose transferring the condensed
water to an external vessel or a draining system. Complete the following steps to connect the
draining hose:
1.
Turn the appliance off using the switch (2a).
2.
Unplug the power cord. Ensure a good access to the back panel (Fig. 4).
3.
Remove the drain cover (9) from the water tank (7) (Fig. 5). Removing the water tank (7) in
advance will provide better access.
4.
Connect the draining hose (12) to the outlet neck (10) (Fig. 6).
CAUTION! Ensure that the connection is tight.
CAUTION! Do not bend or cover the draining hose.
5.
Reinstall the water tank (7).
6.
Place the other end of the draining hose in a vessel or a draining system.
CAUTION! The vessel or draining system must be below the level of the outlet neck. Failure to comply with this
requirement may lead to serious damage and electrocution.
CAUTION! Remove the draining hose after operation.
7.
Plug in the appliance and turn it on (after at least 10 minutes).
