The Tri-Ball with Hook Hitch can be attached four different ways, depending on

the intended use.  Each different size of Ball is rated to handle a different load

capacity.  The Hook is used to pull a rope or chain.  Attach the Hitch to the Box-

End Receiver or Box Hitch (not provided) on the vehicle with the Ball or Hook to

be utilized facing upwards (see Figure A).

To attach the Tri-Ball Hitch to a Box-End Receiver/Box Hitch, insert the shank of

the Tri-Ball Hitch into the Box-End Receiver/Box Hitch (see Figure A).
Align the side holes located in the shank of the Tri-Ball Hitch and the Box-

End Receiver/Box Hitch. Then, insert the 5/8” grade 5 steel Receiver Pin (not

included) all the way through the holes, as shown in Figure B and C.  Next,

attach an “R” pin (not included) to the open end of the receiver pin.

caution:

Before towing, be sure that the connection between the hitch and the load is

properly secured and locked in place. If the wrong size ball is used for towing,

severe personal injury, property damage, or death may result; consult the manual

for the appropriate ball size and connector to be used.
