the ISOFIX connection indicator is red. (6)
Push the GUARDFIX in to the ISOFIX connectors (5) of your
car (A4) until you hear a „click“ sound. When the ISOFIX
points are correctly attached, the ISOFIX connection indica-
tors (6) will turn green.
If the indicators remain red you must release and re-connect
the ISOFIX points, to do this see „REMOVING THE CAR
SEAT” (page 29).
When both ISOFIX connectors are attached correctly push
the support leg in the middle rectangle area of the GUARD-
FIX. (A5)
Then adjust the support leg, pull the support leg adjustment
button (16) located in the side of the support leg and move the
foot of the support leg downwards until it reaches the vehicle
floor. (A6)
WARNING!
ENSURE THAT AT ALL TIMES THE SUPPORT
LEG IS IN CONTACT WITH THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE
AND THE INDICATORS ARE GREEN.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that the support leg indicator (17)
is green. If the indicator is red you must re-adjust the support
leg.
Now push the GUARDFIX as far as possible towards the back
of the seat of the vehicle. If the support leg is touching the
seat please adjust the horizontal length while using the button
in front of the support leg.
CHECKLIST
• Check the SOFIX points are securely attached to the ve-
hicle by checking that the ISOFIX indicators (6) are green.

• Check that the support leg is properly installed and locked
into position and the indicator on the foot of the support
leg (17) is green. (A6)
