TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
TRACK BAR MOUNT
Track Bar Mount specify 4' (1219 mm), 8'
(2438 mm), or 12' (3658 mm) track length and color
option of black or white. Track bar can be cut down
in the field.
NOTE: Maximum seven 250 watt lamp units or five
375 watt lamp units per each 20 amp track bar
circuit. Installer is responsible for properly sizing the
supply circuit with the lamp load.
WARNING
To avoid any injury or damage the Decorative
Heat Lamps must only be serviced by qualified
personnel.
WARNING
To avoid any injury or damage to the Decorative
Heat Lamps turn the power OFF at the
disconnect switch/circuit breaker and allow to
cool before performing any maintenance.
SYMPTOM
PROBABLE CAUSE
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Unit is not working at all.
Unit is turned “ON” but there
is no light.
Unit not turned on.
Place ON/OFF switch, if equipped, in the
ON position.
ON/OFF switch is not
functioning.
Contact Authorized Service Agent for
repair.
No power to unit.
Switch is defective.
Check circuit breaker and reset as
necessary.
Contact Authorized Service Agent for
repair.
Heating bulb is defective.
Replace heating bulb if defective.
Heat is inadequate.
Unit mounted too high above
target area.
Excessive air movement
around Decorative Heat
Lamp target area.
Incorrect power supply (low).
Lower unit, putting effective heat closer
to target.
Restrict or redirect air movement (ie. - air
conditioning duct or exhaust fan) away
from unit.
Check power supply to unit, making sure
it matches rating on the unit. If power
supply is incorrect, change to match
rating on unit.
