4) Remove the four power supplies from the PA Block.
5) Identify the slot that each PA module is in and then remove all of the modules
from the PA Block. Later in the procedure the modules should be returned to
the same slot that they were removed from.
6) Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four PA Block mounting screws
identified in figure 7. Save the hardware for reuse.
7) Slide the PA Block chassis out of the transmitter and place it on an appropriate
ESD work bench.
8) Use a #1Phillips screwdriver to remove the twenty one screws that hold the PA
Block cover in place. Save the hardware for reuse.
9) Remove the cover and set it aside.
10) Locate the Power Supply Backplane board and verify that all the wires have the
proper wire numbers as listed on the diagram in figure 9. If they are not
properly marked then mark them. Once this is complete remove the wires from
the Power Supply Backplane board.
