LPU Software Update 

Note: Steps 61 through 71 must be performed for LPU A & B 

 

STEP 61. 

Connect a standard or crossover ethernet cable between a computer 

and the ethernet port on the front of the LPU to be updated. 
 

STEP 62. 

Configure the local area network connection on your computer for 

DHCP. The LPU will assign your computer an IP address. 
 

STEP 63. 

Open a web browser and enter address 

http://192.168.117.88/isp

In-System Programming will appear as shown in figure 33.

STEP 64. 

Select “Browse” to locate the version of modulation specific software that 

was downloaded from the Harris website in step 1. For example: 
APEXM2X_ATSC_REVT. S19 is a typical LPU software file. When the correct
