Tag Name Data Type Description
BaudRate Numeric Symbol rate, the bit rate divided by
the number of bits transmitted in each
symbol. It is a measure of data
transmission.
ByteSize Numeric: from 4 to 8 Number of bits in a byte.
StopBits Numeric: 0, 1, or 2 Specifies the number of bits used to
indicate the end of a byte.
0 - 1
1 - 1.5
2 - 2
Parity Numeric: 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 Specifies the type of parity checking
(error detection).
0 - no parity
1 - odd parity
2 - even parity
3 - mark parity
4 - space parity
RtsControl Numeric: 0, 1, 2, or 3 Specifies the type of flow control,
which starts and restarts the flow
without the loss of bytes.
0 - control disable
1 - control enable
2 - control handshake
3 - control toggle
PlasmaScreenType Text Displayed in the Plasma Display list
of the Plasma Display Control dialog.
