Editing DSP Settings

The 

Arrow

 button on the right of the Basic Source Routing panel (see 

Figure 38

) can be used to expand the window and show the Advanced Source Routing panel 

(shown in 

Figure 39

).

The Advanced Source Routing panel provides the following additional parameters:

Threshold

 

This parameter sets the level in dB below which the secondary source will be engaged.

Attack

 

This parameter determines the time that it takes for the secondary source to engage. This can range from 0.1 second to 1.0 second.

Release

 

This parameter determines the time that it takes for the primary source to re-engage once the threshold level is exceeded.

Depth of Cut

 

This parameter determines the amount of attenuation applied to the primary source when the secondary source is active.
