SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Never use the product if you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
• Keep children under supervision to make
sure they do not play with, or climb on the
product.
• When transporting stepladders on support
rails or in a truck, make sure to position
them so they cannot be damaged.
• Secure the product in a suitable way when
transporting it in, or on a vehicle.
• Inspect the stepladder after delivery and
before using for the first time to check its
condition and the functionality of all the parts.
• Visually inspect the stepladder for
damage and check that it is safe to use
each day before using it.
• Check the stepladder at regular intervals
when used professionally. Make sure that
the stepladder is suitable for the job.
• Do not use a damaged stepladder.
• Remove any dirt, wet paint, clay, oil or
snow, from the stepladder.
• Before using a stepladder a risk
assessment must be made in accordance
with the applicable regulations in the
country of use.
• Repairs and maintenance work must be
carried out at an accredited service centre
in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
• Only spare parts from the manufacturer
must be used.
• Do not use stepladders that conduct
electricity to do jobs where it is not
possible to switch off the power.
• Do not spend long periods on a ladder
without regular breaks(tiredness is a risk)
• Do not use the ladder outside in adverse
weather conditions, such as strong wind.
• When positioning the ladder take into
account risk of collision with the ladder
e.g. from pedestrians, vehicles or doors.
Secure doors (not fire exits) and windows
where possible in the work area.
