Never look at the Sun as severe eye damage may occur.

Protect the unit from moisture, dust and sunlight.  If condensation is visible on the monocular,

set the Monocular aside until condensation disappears.

Check for damaged parts

.  Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should

be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.

Replacement parts and accessories

.  When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.

Use of any other parts will void the warranty.

10.

Do not operate product if under the influence of alcohol or drugs

.  Read warning labels on

prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there
is any doubt, do not operate the product.

Do not allow children to handle or play with the Monocular.

Unpacking

When unpacking your NV Monocular-Water Resistant, check to make sure that the product is intact
and undamaged.  If any parts are missing or broken, please call

1-800-444-3353.

Assembly

Your Monocular will only require installation of a battery.  It is important that you read this entire
manual to become familiar with the product BEFORE you set up and use the Monocular.

    Installing the Battery

1.

Using a coin or large screwdriver, remove the Battery Cover (1)-see
Figure 1.

Insert (1) CR145 3V Lithium battery into the battery compartment with the polarity placed as
indicated inside the compartment.  Replace the Battery Cover (1).
