Changing the Blade (22)
Refer to FIGURES 4, 5, and 6.
1.
Press the Cover Release Button on the control panel. Remove the Baffle (23) to
expose the Blade Catch (24) nut.
2.
Being careful not to break the Plastic Wrench (38), loosen the Blade Catch (24)
nut. The Blade Catch (24) nut is reverse-threaded. Follow the arrow directions
on it.
3.
Remove the Blade Catch (24) nut, and, while wearing cut-resistant gloves, care-
fully remove the Blade (22) without touching the edges. Note how the Blade (22)
is positioned to make sure you identically install the new Blade. Before discard-
ing the old blade, carefully package it so that it can be safely and properly dis-
posed of.
4.
Put on the new Blade (22), replace the Blade Catch (24) nut, and replace the
cover.

MAINTENANCE
1.
WARNING! Make sure the Power Switch (10) of the Slicer is in its “OFF”
position and that the Slicer is unplugged from its electrical outlet before perform-
ing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
2.
BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Slicer. Check for loose
screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, dam-
aged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected by a qualified
technician before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
3.
After each use, clean the Slicer following the instructions in the box on page 6.
4.
The Slicer should always be unplugged when not in use.
