The pull chain extensions (J) supplied in one
of the hardware packs or custom pull chain
extensions (not included) may be attached to fan
and light pull chains. (Fig. 11)

Align holes in switch housing cap (C) with
holes in switch housing. [
Note
: Make sure to
align gap on top edge of the switch housing cap
(C) with the reverse switch on switch housing
for the correct fit.] Re-insert screws that were
removed in Step 5 on the previous page and
use a Phillips screwdriver to secure all screws.

Install three candelabra base 40 watt max.
bulbs (I) included. (Fig. 9)
Important:
When you need to replace bulbs,
please allow bulbs and glass shade (F) to cool
down before handling them.
Switch
Housing
10.
Place white washer, that was removed in Step
6 of this section, inside glass shade (F) over
center hole. Align center hole in the glass shade
(F) with threaded rod in light kit fitter (E), allowing
pull chains to come through corresponding holes
in glass shade (F). Push up gently on glass shade
(F). Thread pull chains through corresponding
holes in finial plate (K) and center pull chain
through hole in finial (L). (
Align fan pull chain so
that it does not rub against light bulbs when fan is
in operation.
) Tighten finial (L) to secure glass
shade (F) to light kit fitter (E). (Fig. 10)
Note:
Do not overtighten finial (L) as glass may
crack or break.
