Installation
Choose a suitable location
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– The dishwasher must be positioned be-
neath a full work surface which is joined
together with the cupboards adjacent to the
dishwasher.
– In order to install the connection pipes, the
dishwasher must be positioned near to a
washing/dishwashing basin.
– The measurements of the recess must at
least correspond to the details in the follow-
ing diagram.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the appliance may
result in injury.
■
The appliance is heavy and bulky. Seek
the help of another person during trans-
port, installation and assembly.
■
If a trolley is used to move the appliance,
the appliance must be moved as shown
on the packaging.
■
Only lift the appliance as shown on the
packaging.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation location,
e.g. open doors and clear away objects
lying on the fl oor.
Installation
Having the outlet hose
connected
Specific technical measures are required to
connect the outlet hose (21) to the trap (si-
phon) of your washbasin/sink.
For this reason, the outlet hose may only be
connected by a professional plumber or a
member of our service department see „Ser-
vice department“ on page EN-31).
NOTICE
Potential malfunction!
Failure to connect the appliance correctly
may cause malfunctions during operation.
■
Make sure that the waste water can
drain freely at any time. To do this, the
drainage cross-section must be at least
40 mm.
■
Make sure that there are no kinks in or
damage to the outlet hose.
■
Make sure that the end of the hose is not
submerged in the pumped water.
■
Do not extend the outlet hose or replace
with another drainage pipe.
Connect the outlet hose’s outlet as follows:
Ø 40 mm
max. 1000 mm
Option A:
Direct connection to the odour seal (siphon)
of your washing/dishwashing basin. The out-
let hose must be a maximum of 1000 mm
above the floor.
Option B:
Connection to a floor drain.
