Adding rinse aid
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Using an excessive amount of rinse aid can
lead to increased foaming and can com-
promise the rinsing results.
■
Wipe away rinse aid which has over-
fl owed immediately.
■
Take note of the markings for the max-
imum fi ll quantities (“max”) in the rinse
aid chamber.
Using unsuitable substances can cause
damage to the dishwasher.
■
Only put rinse aids which are suitable for
dishwashers into the rinse aid chamber.
Rinse aid ensures stain-free dishes and
speeds up the drying process. The added
rinse aid is automatically dosed during oper-
ation.
Add rinse aid before using for the first time
and when the “Add rinse aid” indicator (10)
is illuminated.
(19)
1. Turn the cover of the rinse aid compart-
ment (19) a quarter turn in an anti-clock-
wise direction and remove it.
2. Fill the water tank to the “max” mark in
the opening. The adjacent display window
will then turn black. Wipe away any rinse
aid which has spilt immediately so that
you don’t compromise the rinsing results
and to avoid increased foaming.
3. The rinse aid is pre-set to dispensed dose
‘4’. We recommend that you use this set-
ting for the time being.
4. When the dishes are
– matt and stained after the first clean:
Increase the dispensed dose. Turn the
arrow in the rinse aid compartment (19)
counter-clockwise to the desired setting,
e.g. ‘5’.
– sticky and have streaks: Reduce the dis-
pensed dose. Turn the arrow in the rinse
aid compartment (19) clockwise to the
desired setting, e.g. ‘3’.
5. Replace the cover on the opening of the
compartment and turn it in a clockwise
direction.
