Inserting the oven
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Incorrect installation/dismantling can
cause electric shock.
■
Before installing/dismantling the
appliance, check that the socket to
which the appliance is connected is
switched off.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can result in damage.
■
Use only the side carry points to lift
the oven.
■
Do not set the oven down on the edge
or corner of the oven door! The glass
panes can be damaged.
1. Push the oven into the recess until the
front fascia is flush with the installation
unit. The mains connection must not be
kinked, pinched or otherwise damaged.
2. Ensure an even gap between the oven
and the unit walls on both sides. Do not
seal the gap above the oven fascia.
3. Once the oven is correctly positioned,
open the oven door and screw into the
unit using the fitting screws supplied.
4. Switch the socket fuse back on.
5. Check the functions (see „Operation“ on
page GB-9).
Pre-cleaning the oven
The oven must be pre-cleaned to remove all
grease and oil residues from the manufactur-
ing process, as well as tough dust deposits
leftover from storage and transportation.
1. Leave the oven rack, baking tray and
dripping pan in the oven.
2. Pour about 0.6 l of water into the dripping
pan.
3. Operate the oven for 60 minutes at 50 °C,
top and bottom heat (see „Operation“
on page GB-9).
4. Let all parts dry completely afterwards.
5. Wash the baking tray, oven rack, dripping
pan and cooking compartment with clean
water. Then dry everything off.
