Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible solutions/tips
The cookware does not
heat up and the mes-
sage ‘ ’ appears on the
display.
The cookware is not recognised because it is not suitable for induc-
tion hobs. Select suitable cookware (see “The right cookware“ on
page EN-12).
The induction hob does not recognise the cookware because it is too
small for the selected cooking zone/mixed zone or because it is not
centred on the cooking zone/mixed zone.
The hob switches off un-
expectedly. You will hear
a signal tone and an er-
ror message will appear
in the sensor field.
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor field,
disconnect the hob from the power supply and contact our Service
department (see “Service“ on page EN-26).

Disconnect the hob from the power
supply and check that the mains volt-
age is correct. Only switch the power
supply back on when the mains voltage
is again normal

One of the heat sensors in the glass
ceramic hob measures excessive tem-
perature.
Incorrect cookware.
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Inspect the cookware. Then switch the
appliance back on again.
E5 / E6
Overheating electronics.
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Then switch back on again.
F3–F8
Defective temperature sensor.

F9–FA
Defective temperature sensor.
