Water is draining
even though the ap-
pliance is not pump-
ing.
Outlet hose is too low.
Place outlet hose higher.
Water is running out
(appliance is “leak-
ing”).
Inlet or outlet hose is not screwed
on tightly enough.
Screw down inlet or outlet hose
down tighter.
Lint trap not closed properly.
Close lint trap properly (see
page EN-32).
Appliance is unsteady
or vibrating strongly.
Transport security device(s)
wasn’t/weren’t removed.
Remove the transport safety de-
vice(s) (see page EN-34).
Appliance was not installed or
aligned properly.
Install or align appliance properly.
The laundry in the drum is heavy
or distributed unevenly.
Suspend the wash cycle and
restart it to distribute the laundry
more evenly.
Spin cycle is not run-
ning or is slow.
The imbalance correction system
for imbalanced drum loads is run-
ning.
No error. Once the laundry is
distributed evenly, the spin cycle
starts automatically.
During the wash
cycle, no water can
be seen in the drum
through the glass
panel.
This is not an error. The water is
at the bottom of the drum.
The appliance door
cannot be opened
after the wash cycle
has finished.
This is not an error. The opening
mechanism contains a safety de-
vice that keeps the door closed
another two minutes or so after
the wash cycle has finished.
Press the button (3) to switch
the appliance off. Wait a few
minutes, then open the appliance
door.

Too much water in the appliance.
Pump out the water (see
page EN-22)
Switch the appliance off after the
water has been pumped out and
pull out the plug. Close the tap
and contact the service depart-
ment (see page EN-44).
The cycle duration
displayed differs from
the actual duration of
the cycle.
This is not an error. The cycle
duration is always adapted to the
circumstances and re-calculated.
