Getting started
Before getting started
• First read chapter „Intended use“ and
chapter „Safety notices“ (see page EN-4
and the following).
• Remove the transport safety devices and
prepare the appliance as described in
chapter „Installation, connection and initial
commissioning“ (see page EN-33).
• Properly attach the water inlet hose (15)
and the water outlet hose (16).
Possible residual water or drops in the
appliance are merely a sign that it was
tested for functionality during production.
The appliance requires an initial wash cycle
without laundry, but with detergent (test run).
The aim of this is to rinse out possible resi-
dues from production.
1. Check whether the water inlet hose (15)
and water outlet hose (16) are securely
connected.
2. Open the valve completely.
3. Make sure that the drum is empty.
4. Push the loading door (10) tightly closed.

5. If the partition (19) is located in the left
chamber II of the dispensing drawer (1),
take it out. Keep it safe as it is needed
when liquid detergent is used.
6. Dispense a maximum of 25 ml of compact
detergent into left chamber II.

7. Set the cycle selector (2) to the “Cotton”
cycle.
The cycle time is shown on the display
panel (9).
8. Press the button (3).
The cycle starts and the remaining cycle
time is shown on the display panel (9).
After the cycle is finished, “End” is shown
on the display panel (9).
9. Turn the cycle selector (2) to “Off”. Take
the mains plug out of the socket and turn
off the tap.
Start-up is now finished.
