About climate categories
• Always ensure the prescribed ambient temperature is maintained “Intended use” on
page EN-4).
Climate category means that the appliance is intended for operation at the specified ambient
temperature. If the room temperature drops significantly below this, the appliance will not
switch on as often. This indicates that an unwelcome increase in temperature may occur.

When positioning the appliance, en-
sure the supply cord is not trapped or
damaged. Do not kink the mains cord
or lay it over sharp edges.

Insuffi cient air circulation may lead to
overheating and cause damage to the
appliance.

To ensure adequate air circulation,
keep ventilation openings, in the ap-
pliance enclosure or in the built-in
structure, clear of obstruction.

Do not place the appliance directly
against the wall. Adhere to minimum
distances “Choosing a suitable loca-
tion” on page EN-20).
Risk of malfunctioning!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if the ambient temperature exceeds
or falls below the specifi ed temperature
range for a prolonged period. This can
then lead to an increase in temperature
inside the appliance.

– To prevent the formation of a flammable
gas-air mixture in the event of a leakage
in the refrigeration circuit, the installation
space must have a minimum size of 1 m

per 8 g of refrigerant in compliance with
the EN 378 standard. The amount of re-
frigerant contained in your appliance can
be found under “Technical Specifications”
on page EN-29.
