NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to property damage.
■
Do not use sharp objects to unpack the
appliance.
■
Do not use electrical appliances inside
the food storage compartments of the
appliance, unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
■
Only electrical parts that conform to the
manufacturer’s recommended specifi ca-
tions may be used inside the appliance.
■
The insulation of your appliance is made
of polyurethane with environmental-
ly compatible pentane insulating foam.
Do not use any electrical heating equip-
ment, scrapers, knives or any kind of aid
with a naked fl ame, for example candles,
to defrost. The thermal insulation and
the interior are scratch and heat-sensi-
tive and can melt.

Do not use mechanical devices or other
means to accelerate the defrosting pro-
cess, other than those recommended by
the manufacturer.
■
To get rid of the smell that comes with
all new appliances, wipe down the inside
using lukewarm water with vinegar.
■
Observe the following for transport and
start-up:
■
Do not tilt the appliance horizontal-
ly. Only rest the appliance against the
wall to change the door hinges.
■
After transport leave the appliance to
stand for 2 hours to allow the coolant
to settle.
■
When cleaning, please note:
■
Under no circumstances should sharp,
coarse, sodium carbonate-based, acid-
ic, solvent-based or abrasive cleaning
agents be used. All-purpose cleaners
with a neutral pH are recommended.
■
The door seal is sensitive to oil and
grease - the rubber becomes porous
and brittle as a result.
■
The surfaces can be damaged by un-
suitable cleaning agents. Use care
products only on the outer surfaces.
■
Use only soft cloths for cleaning.
■
Make sure that no water gets into the
ventilation slots, the electrical parts
and the drain opening.
■
Only use the bulb to illuminate the in-
terior of the appliance. It is not suita-
ble for lighting a room.
