Changing the door hinges

Depending on the space conditions, you can
change the direction of the door hinges on
your appliance. This work, however, requires
you to have a certain degree of craftsmanship
skills. Please read the following steps com-
pletely before changing the hinges.
In addition to the package contents, you will
require:
– Star-headed screwdriver (PH2)
– Medium size flat-headed screwdriver
– 8 and 10-sized spanner
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et.

2. Carefully lift the hinge faceplate (9) up
with the help of a flat-headed screwdriver.
Also remove the covering plate on the op-
posite side.

3. Loosen and remove the screws (10) and
remove the upper hinge plate (11).

4. Unscrew the nuts from the hinge bolts us-
ing a size 10 spanner. Unscrew the hinge
bolts (12) from the upper side of the hinge
faceplate (11) and rescrew them back
onto the bottom. Rescrew the nuts tightly
on to the hinge bolts.

5. Open the fridge compartment door and
lift it vertically upwards from the bolt
on the middle hinge (13). Set the door
aside.
6. Unscrew both screws on the (14) middle
hinge and pull the hinge out of the lower
door.
7. Lift the lower door out and upwards and
set the door aside.

8. Tip the appliance back as far as possible
(45° max.) in such a way that the front
feet of the appliance (16) and the lower
hinge plate (15) are easy to reach.
9. Unscrew both of the feet of the appli-
ance (16) (anti-clockwise).
10. Unscrew the three screws (17) on both
sides. Use the supplied size 8 spanner
to do this. Remove the hinge plate (15).
11. Remove the decorative cap above the
hinge and place it on the top of the
screw on the opposite side.
