Dishwasher operation
Selecting and starting the
dishwashing programme
It is recommended that you carry out a
test run before the first dishwasher cy-
cle in order to remove residues from the
manufacturing process and in order to en-
sure that the appliance functions perfectly.
Carry out this test run when the dishwasher
is empty and without any dishwasher deter-
gent.
1. Switch on the appliance with the but-
ton (1).
2. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the “programme table”;
see page EN-21.
3. Press the button (18).
4. Close the appliance door to start the dish-
washing programme.
During the programme cycle, the two dots
between the hour and the minute will flash
in the display (16).
When the programme is finished, a beep
will sound eight times.
5. Now turn off the water tap and press the
button to switch off the appliance.
6. Continue with “Unloading the dishwasher”
on page EN-25.
Delayed start
The washing cycle will normally begin as
soon as the appliance door has been closed.
If you want the cycle to begin later, you can
specify this. The start time can be delayed
between 1 and 24 hours.
1. Press the button (17) as many times as
necessary for the display (16) to show the
delay required (
H:00
,
H:01
to
H:24
).
2. Press the button (18).
3. Close the door of the appliance.
When the start delay is active, a colon
flashes in the display.
When the time delay has elapsed, the
dishwashing programme starts.
Additional options
You can combine the various dishwashing
programmes with additional options. The ad-
ditional options must be selected before start-
ing the dishwashing programme.
– “Quick wash” (11):
This option shortens the programme cy-
cle. It is recommended for crockery with
minimal staining.
This option cannot be selected with

– “Bottle cleaning” (12):
This option can be used for cleaning bot-
tles in the upper dish rack (32).

“Auto” , “Pre-rinse” or “Self-clean-
ing” .
– “Extra dry” (13):
This option increases the drying effect
by increasing the temperature in the final
rinse phase and the drying time.
This option can only be selected with
“ECO” , “Quiet/night” and “90 min” .
Activating/deactivating
automatic door opening
